DIY Bridal Bouquet for Summer Wedding Step 1: Begin by picking out the most beautiful white roses that you can find. You may also choose to use bolder colored roses for your summer wedding bridal bouquet if you so wish. You will also need to pick out 6 large gardenia blooms for the summer wedding bouquet.

DIY Bridal Bouquet for Summer Wedding Step 2: Form together with the two dozen roses so that they create a large circular bloom. Stagger the stems in a form so that you end up with many blooms on top and staggered rosebuds around the sides of the circle. This will form a half ball shaped bouquet.

DIY Bridal Bouquet for Summer Wedding Step 3: Now, add in the gardenias randomly along the sides of the bouquet. Place the stem of the gardenias in between the rose blooms to create a border along the outer edge of the entire summer wedding bouquet.

DIY Bridal Bouquet for Summer Wedding Step 4: Using floral tape, begin two inches from the top of the stems of the bouquet and wrap the floral tape tightly around the bouquet. Continue rolling floral tape along the bouquet all the way down the stems of the flowers until you get about 4 inches from the bottom.

DIY Bridal Bouquet for Summer Wedding Step 5: Cut a piece of white ribbon about 2 feet long and begin at the top of the bouquet and wrap the ribbon around the stems to cover the floral tape. Secure the beginning of the white ribbon by wrapping twice around the bouquet and then placing a pearl topped pin into the stems through the ribbon.

DIY Bridal Bouquet for Summer Wedding Step 6: Continue wrapping the ribbon around the bouquet until you have covered the floral tape completely. Secure the bottom of the ribbon by wrapping twice around the bouquet and using a pin to secure. Make sure that the pin is on the same side of the bouquet.

DIY Bridal Bouquet for Summer Wedding Step 7: Using the remainder of the pearl topped pins, create a line down the front side of the bouquet stems by pinning two pins together every inch into the stems. This will create a beautiful beaded look to the already gorgeous summer rose and gardenia bouquet.

DIY Bridal Bouquet for Summer Wedding Step 8: Place stems into a vase of water to keep bouquet overnight in the refrigerator before the wedding day. Upon removal from water on the wedding day you may cut the ends of the bouquet stems to assure freshness for the big day!
